There’s a tug-of-war that often occurs between design (innovation) and production (execution) that can create a cycle of miscommunication, rework, and conflict. Creatives want to have more choices on how they want their design and color brought to life. In production, printers are focused on quality, efficiency, delivery, and cost. Within this tug-of-war is waste and loss of productivity as each side must negotiate with the other to finish the product. In this session, you will learn ways this potential conflict can be resolved, making it faster, easier, and more cost effective for the design intent to be faithfully executed in production.
